Elaine Marie Duplissey, 83, beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. She was born September 14, 1934 in Jersey City, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late Warren and Lillian Christianson Lokker.
She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, James Fredrick Duplissey, whom she married on April 16, 1966. They were married for 52 years.
Elaine worked as an administrative assistant on Wall Street in New York City for many years. In later years, she was employed as a real estate agent. She was a loving and generous person who spent most of her life caring for others.
Elaine loved singing, reading, solving crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: her son, Christopher Duplissey of Catawissa, PA, her daughter, Claudine Cole of Wall, NJ, two grandchildren, Abigail and Justin and loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Services were private and held at the convenience of the family.
